|
|
It's frustrating to finish recording a song only to not be able to put it into a wav or aiff file.
After I export the project only a portion of the song, the first 30 seconds to 2 minutes is there.
Once I got a message that there was not enough room on the hard disk to export the song but there was 23 Gigs of free space!
I moved my Cubase files to another drive that has 63 gigs available but still have the same problem. My projects are only audio tracks, I'm not using VST or Midi.
Can someone please help!

This happened to me. It turned out to be a conflict with my wireless card. I used DPC checker to hunt this down. The sound card behaved reasonably well when mixing but when I did an audio mixdown, the sound in the resulting mixdown file would cut out after as little 15 seconds. On other projects, the sound card just messed up so badly that I didn't even bother trying a mixdown.
The DPC checker is here:

Of course, you'll want to make sure you have the latest CI 2 driver fro Steiny aswell!
