I can see the show/hide track colors option but the drop down color selector (not the bucket paint tool) has disappeared. Any idea where to look?
Thanks! |

In Cubase LE 4 it is the rightmost tool so at first try to maximise the Window. If you have a very small resolution you might need to drag the whole Cubase window to the left - a bit outside of the screen. Then grab the window grip at the bottom on the right and extend Cuabse's window until you see the colour selector. _________________ www.steinberg.net |

Nada, it's gone for good.
Could it be because I am bringing these files as recorded in from another Cubase LE4 installation?
They are from my drummer's studio but he has the same version of Cubase that I do. |

No, it doesn't play a role where the project is coming from. Can you select a higher screen resolution? _________________ www.steinberg.net |

Georg, I was at maximum resolution for both screens. I brought down the screen resolution to 1152 x 864 on both from 1280 x 1024, nothing. Then went up again to maximum resolution and it is still gone.
I also opened up another project taht is older that the current ones I am working on and the color thing is gone on these as well. |

OK, good news - I got it back!!!
Turns out I have to click on the far left on the Project window (right next to "Activate Project") and select the Color menu from there. Whew! |

So you've unselected "Color Menu" from the tool bar settings context menu that appears when you right-click on the tool bar background? To be honest, I thought that context menu would not be available in Cubase LE 4. Strangely enough, it only pops up when you right-click somewhere between the buttons but not if you click on the free space (not only right to "Activate Project") at the far right of the tool bar. Anyway, thanks for the feedback! _________________ www.steinberg.net |

Yeah, that was very weird considering that it wasn't mentioned on the manual. I tried r-clicking on the far right to my hearts content and nothing happened |
