Anyone here who is using the CC121 with Nuendo 5?

Any thoughts? What's good and what's not?

I've had my eyes on this for a while, but think it's a bit expensive. The question is: Is it worth its price?

Thanks in advance.

I just got mine for C5.5.2 and YES it's worth every $$$! It really speeds my workflow in a exact connected way, not like other controllers you may have to map generically. with the cc121, you'll stumble across functions that make your life easier. I waited too long to get this. For dedicated Cubase users, there is none better. It may work similar with Nuendo since the interfaces are similar (though CC stands for Cubase Controller)

I've held back because I havn't had the time to upgrade my studio to C5 and N5 yet.
But I have now set up a test computer at home with Win7 64 bit - C 5.5.2 and N 5.1. And ordered the CC121 this morning Smile

My plan is to do different testing of 32 bit vs 64 bit Nuendo/Cubase, check my plugin compatibility and so on before upgrading my studio computer.
Don't want downtime and my trusty XP box (with N4.3) has served me well for years. Never a hickup or bluescreen in its lifetime.

I will run in my CC121 + N5/C5 at the test machine, waiting for the right time to invest and set up a new computer for my studio.

Thanks for the thumbs up Smile

PS. Added functionality in the new Tools driver v1.6 = added value

It was expensive, but I don't regret getting it. Especially now that I have it working with control room, etc.

Got it today.
Test install on my laptop with Windows 7 - 32 bit. Up and running in 4 minutes. After 10 minutes...... I'm in "love".

Now I'm going to work out which functions suits me the best for the 4 function buttons.
Any suggestions? What have you set up?

Then I'm gonna check out the Quick-control mapping.
Any suggestions to get my creative juice flowing?

That said, it looks much better in person than in the pics.
The fader is "smoooooth".
The new Eq button functions (V1.6) is the added value I was waiting for.
Transport feels nice.

Enough for now...... See you on the new forum Smile
