Hello!

Just saw this option in the Kore2 controller and thought it would be great: To be able to set a maximum value and a minimum value for the LEDs in the cc121. So, if you want to actually be able to SEE them dark enviroments, just set the LOW level to 10% instead of the 'default' 0%. Or if you think the HIGH level is just too high for you, just set it to 80% instead of the 'default' 100%.

This is mainli due to the fact that (maybe I'm the only one) I work in a Low-light enviroment and, sometimes, the Trasnport buttons, for example, are difficult to distinguish. If I was able to set a LOW level major then 0, (just a little bit, as it happens on the 'start up sequence', in wich all leds dime in different intensities) that would solve the issue.

Hope this one makes it,

Jorge

Working in a darkened (or 'moodily' lit) studio and having to confirm on screen which button you've just pressed kinda negates the atmosphere ... man.

I'm sure this would be possible as when you first switch the unit on the LEDs cycle through their brightness ranges. Would be great to somehow have a way of setting them to their brightest setting as I too have ambient lighting and difficult to distinguish the transport buttons.

Hi

I just stated some months ago, that I think, not even all possible LED's are switched on during operation Exclamation
(Just compare the start-up behavour and during operation.....)

But according to Steinbergs philosophy, you will have to buy the next, regular version (Cubase 6 Question ) to use this function.
(or you buy a new CC121 each 6 months Razz )

Cheers

I love my CC121 but yes it would be great to be able to set the level of illumination of those transport controls. I'd even settle for just having the lights on all the time at full power so that I can see them in a darkened studio. Hopefully this isn't too difficult to do and we might see it soon.

Npt only +1, I asked for this when the device was launched. Even the brochure images show the LEDs illuminated, implying that they are lit when in use.

I agree...looking at the pictures of the unit it looks like the lights are on. I just received mine and none of the transport lights are on at all (or they're so dim as to be effectively invisible). Sounds like some folks can actually see them a little??? The various selector buttone on mine will light when i press them (eq on/off, various track buttons mute etc... but nothing on the transport section. Is this normal???
