I just upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit. So far I love it but I am noticing some quirks with the plugins. I was using Cubase 5 - 64 bit until tonight because I am having problems with Absynth 4. Go figure its a 64 bit plugin version.

Anyway, Groove Agent 3 has stopped recording. I can't figure out what the deal is. I don't know if it's Windows 7 causing the problem or what. I've done all the usuals.
1. Record Live to Host
2. Made Groove Agent 3 the input/output

I can't think of anything else. I've been using this plugin for 3 years now and just recently with the upgrade I am seeing funky things.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I love this plugin. It's save me hours of time on drum tracks.

This is killing me that it doesn't work. It's holding my production up right now and is a major buzz-kill. Oddly enough if I go back to Cubase 4.5.2 then Groove Agent records to host fine. Doesn't do crap on Cubase 5 though. What's the deal? It's definitely a bug.

I too am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 but have reverted back to Cubase 5 32 bit as Hypersonic 2 doesn't work in the 64 bit version and is no longer supported. Hypersonic being the best thing since sliced bread!!! Anyway, I digress, I had the same problem with GA3 and all it turned out to be was that I hadn't selected Groove Agent 3 as the midi input on the track, which was something I haven't done with any other instrument. It now works beautifully and if I stop Groove Agent 3 when playing back the midi track I also don't get the double up that I got when I had left it playing!
Hope that helps!
Very Happy

Thanks for the reply. I appreciate all the help. It turns out that Groove Agent 3 does NOT work with Cubase 64 bit right now. I spoke with Support here and they are working on it. Hopefully sooner than later. For now I load up 64 bit in between drum track creation. I am still having problems with other plugins. Absynth 5 for instance doesn't like opening multiple copies on 64 bit. I think it even has a 64 bit version. Go figure.

But you can install cubase 32bit alongside 64bit
and record your midi data from GA3 there and then
use the 64bit to import the midi file or repoen the project it was saved in.

Or do internal summing using 64bit cubase.
