For those of you who have tried the Denoiser plugin, can you help me out.
How do I unfreeze ? I press FREEZE, play in the noise print, then .... what ? The only way to unfreeze is to hit ADAPT but then obviously you're in adapt mode. So once the noise print has been played, what do I do then to apply that to the rest of the track ? The manual doesn't explain it either. _________________ Intel DP35DPM // Intel Core 2 Quad Q-6600

Hello,
I think you should press Freeze whyle listening to the noise, that's a footprint.
Just leave Freeze that way and move only the faders to apply the effect to the soundfile.
For example if you have a tape hiss, press Freeze where there's only the hiss (at the beginning of the tape), the footprint is caught.
Then, where's the audio material, just move the faders to apply the effect and do not touch Freeze anymore. _________________ Windows Vista sp1, Athlon X2 64, 4GB ram, 512MB ATI video card. |

So you'd leave it on auto for a few seconds and the press freeze at the end of the noise profile you want to sample ? I guess I'm too used to the Waves way of doing it, but your suggestion makes sense.
I even Googled the Sonnox manual, and then doesn't explain either _________________ Intel DP35DPM // Intel Core 2 Quad Q-6600

Yes, you could even loop the portion of "pure" noise, then press Freeze (and leave it pressed) and the plug is ready to go, using the faders. _________________ Windows Vista sp1, Athlon X2 64, 4GB ram, 512MB ATI video card. |

I confirm that's the way it works, I mixed some noise to a soundfile, left some noise at the beginning to press Freeze and applied it to the rest of the file. The noise was reduced.
It works! _________________ Windows Vista sp1, Athlon X2 64, 4GB ram, 512MB ATI video card. |
