Hi, I cant listen to the tracks i have recorded in stereo. I am able to do a mixdown in stereo and then hear the actual stereo affect through the same speakers once its in AIFC format and out of cubase, but while I'm mixing everything is mono. no matter where I pan the track its still even in both speakers.
I use a Presonus Firestudio and plug my headphones into the head phone jack with a 1/4 inch adapter. I'm hopeful there is just some "monitor is stereo" button I'm supposed to push, let me know THANX!

Have you recorded in a Stereo or Mono track?
You'll need to record in Mono to be heard back in Stereo.

There is such a button in LE1 on the master bus, accessed via the mixer view. But I suspect that if this is activated, all your exported files would be mono.

Just to make sure we're reading this aright-
Exported files play back as stereo files through the Firestudio, but playing back the project within Cubase plays as mono only????
