I just got the Studio case, and it's mostly ok.

However, the guitar VSTi is really wimpy. First question:

What's a good plugin with a wicked crunchy heavy metal guitar like you hear in bands like Dark Tranquillity? I don't want a "sissy" britpop guitar, thanks. Wink

Second question: How the heck do you change the tempo in Groove Agent SE? Confused

1. Put the sissy guitar through a Marshall 100watt stack turned up to 11 with broken celestion speakers (make sure your neighbours are out)

2. GA follows the tempo of Cubase SE. Change the Cubase tempo, and VOILA!

Well, no amp available. Wink

Any suggestions that actually involve a plugin?

Gsuite (free) has a pretty good vst of a marshall, or try tubester (also free). For added noise and mayhem, use 'em both at the same time Laughing I find they both work well with a compressor before them.

i use ni guitar rig.

the are amazing presets for every genre included with the package.

you get a stomp box with volume/wah wah/any other controller pedal with it.

there are great presets for metal, and you can create unlimited sounds with it too. there is amp modelling/speaker modelling/mic/mic postion monitors. its the dogs gonads man.
